Having just signed a contract to buy a Hyundai i10, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha (Can Loc) shared: “Before Tet, I was interested in learning more and wanted to buy a car but had not decided yet. After Tet, I had a little bonus and savings from the year, plus the company reduced cash at this time, the car price was only 360 million VND. Besides, the company also gave many other incentives, so I decided to buy it right away.”

According to statistics from Hyundai Ha Tinh Auto Dealer, from the 8th day of Tet until now, the dealer has sold more than 20 cars of all kinds, mainly the following models: i10, accent, tucson... Accumulated from the beginning of the year until now, Hyundai Ha Tinh has sold 170 cars, reaching more than 12% of the 2024 business plan.

“After Tet, the market is more difficult than before Tet, but there are still many bright spots. Some customers who were interested in and looked into cars before Tet now have money saved and will come back to buy a car,” said Mr. Tran Cong Vuong, assistant director of Hyundai Ha Tinh Auto Dealer.

Also planning to stimulate the market after Tet, at this time, Toyota Phu Tai Duc Ha Tinh (Ha Tinh City) is building a promotion program for March. Accordingly, many Toyota car models have their listed prices adjusted (equivalent to 50% support for registration tax). In particular, to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8, Toyota Phu Tai Duc Ha Tinh also gives away a Vic fashion voucher worth 3 million VND and a skin care and nail care program for female car buyers.

Ms. Le Thi Thu Huyen - Sales Manager of Toyota Phu Tai Duc Ha Tinh Dealer said: "Despite many difficulties in 2023, the dealer has sold all the cars in stock. After Tet, we have just imported new models, so many customers are interested in learning about them. From March, Toyota Phu Tai Duc Ha Tinh will launch a series of big incentives, many car models will have the most preferential prices of the year to support customers in buying cars".

The preferential policies of the program "Proud of Ha Tinh homeland" ended on January 31, but currently, VinFast continues to give customers 2 years of free battery rental or a cash discount of 5 - 6% of the car value; interest support in the first 3 years of car purchase...

In addition, electric cars are exempted from 0% registration fee for new cars until the end of 2024, so many electric cars are being received very positively by the market. Since after Tet until now, VinFast Ha Tinh Dealer has "closed" the sale of more than 20 cars of all kinds, an increase of 30% compared to the time after Tet 2023.

According to car dealers in Ha Tinh, thanks to early recognition that the market will be difficult after Tet, dealers have proactively applied early incentive programs and offered generous discounts to attract customers. In some dealers, employees even accept to cut commission percentages to be able to sell cars.

This preferential policy is actively contributing to the "warm-up" automobile market and not being interrupted by seasonal factors; at the same time, it supports customers in choosing a satisfactory "car" that is suitable for their personal financial capacity.
