On the morning of March 28, the Standing Committee of Tho Xuan District Party Committee held a conference to train and update new knowledge in the first quarter of 2024 and deploy a thematic plan on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle for key officials at the district and grassroots levels.

The conference was held in person at the District Conference Center and connected online to 30 communes and towns in the area.

At the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee Thai Xuan Cuong deployed and thoroughly grasped the 2024 thematic study plan of the Tho Xuan District Party Committee on "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on building awareness of respecting the people, promoting democracy; constantly improving the material and spiritual life of the people in Tho Xuan district".

The topic focuses on two major issues, including: Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style on the awareness of respecting the People, promoting democracy, and caring for the People's lives, and the tasks and solutions to build the awareness of respecting the People, promoting democracy, and constantly improving the material and spiritual life of the People in Tho Xuan district in the current period.

Dr. Nguyen Quynh Lien, Head of the Democracy - Law Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, delivered a speech at the conference.

Also at the conference, Dr. Nguyen Quynh Lien, Head of the Democracy - Law Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, presented the topic "Basic content of the Law on Implementing Democracy at the Grassroots Level and issues arising during the implementation process".

Accordingly, the Law on Grassroots Democracy Implementation in 2022 consists of 6 chapters and 91 articles regulating the content, implementation methods, rights and obligations of citizens and responsibilities of agencies, units, organizations and individuals in ensuring the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level. The Law has a number of important new points such as: Contents for the People to discuss and decide, and to put forward citizens' initiatives; forms for the People to discuss and decide on important issues related to the rights and interests of the People and the country.

The Law also has a number of new regulations on information disclosure in agencies and units and adds new forms of disclosure and regulations on the time of disclosure.
