“The Four Guardians” is the latest Tet film by director Tran Thanh, which just started filming at the end of July. The film is a comedy and is expected to bring audiences hearty laughs during the New Year.

If in previous Tet film seasons, Tran Thanh often exploited family and social themes, in this film, the director revealed that it will be a humorous story with a different color.
Director Tran Thanh affirmed: “If my previous works were stories and messages about love between couples and touching family affection, this time I want to bring a new color to my audience. We will welcome the new year together with lots of refreshing laughter.”
In the crew of the film "The Four Guardians", there are actor-screenwriter Luong Nghiem Huy and director of photography Nguyen Phan Linh Dan - the first 9x female cameraman to win the Best Cameraman award in the history of the Vietnam Film Festival (Vietnam Film Festival 23rd time).
Tran Thanh is one of the most popular directors in the Vietnamese film market today, along with director Ly Hai, the works he makes often have revenue of hundreds of billions of dong and create excitement in the Vietnamese film market. The three films "Bo Gia", "Mrs. Woman's House" and “Mai” have brought in box office revenue of up to thousands of billions of VND and made Tran Thanh’s name become “thousand billion director”. Tran Thanh’s films are also often the subject of many conflicting controversies among both professionals and audiences.
The film is called “The Four Panthers”, and is expected to bring a “top-notch” performance by a quartet of extremely violent panthers, while the cast responsible for this “comedy to the extreme” mission is still a mystery that will be revealed in the future.
The film also marks the reunion of director Tran Thanh and distributor Galaxy Studio, the duo that created the success of “Bo Gia”, the first brick in Tran Thanh’s series of continuous achievements holding box office records. There are still many “unknown” faces in the project that will continue to be introduced to the audience as soon as possible.
