She is emotional, devoted to her family, but also strong and decisive when needed. In the film, Tieu Vy portrayed the character Quynh Anh as pure, simple and natural. This helps the audience easily sympathize with the character's emotions and actions.
Throughout the duration of the film, Quynh Anh gradually matured, from a weak girl she gradually "transformed" into a stronger, more decisive and mature woman. Thanks to that, Tieu Vy also had the opportunity to show her mettle and diversity in acting ability. Director Tran Thanh also gave many compliments to Tieu Vy when she acted in a movie for the first time but was able to show the inner depth of the character. He shared: "Tieu Vy is not only beautiful but also has a keen sense of acting. She brought a very real Quynh Anh, both humorous but also very real and emotional". Tieu Vy's acting in the film was not too excellent but was placed in the right role so it was quite well-rounded and pleasant to watch.
Some viewers have commented that director Tran Thanh knows how to develop the actors' abilities, put them in the right roles and know how to guide the actors to fulfill their roles. Miss Huong Giang commented that both Tieu Vy and Ky Duyen in the film were inspired by Tran Thanh to reveal their own personalities through their roles.
People's Artist Le Khanh also highly appreciated the performances of the two beauty queens Tieu Vy and Ky Duyen, saying that director Tran Thanh had brought out the right "channel" of acting in these two "amateur" actors.
