(TN&MT) - The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has just issued a list of documents for reviewing and taking the civil servant recruitment exam according to the 2023 staffing quota of the Examination Recruitment Council according to Notice No. 02/TB-HDTD dated November 14, 2024. In which, the recruitment exam consists of 2 rounds: Round 1 - Testing general knowledge and capacity; Round 2 - Exam of specialized skills.
For the General Knowledge exam in Round 1, candidates are required to take 10 main subjects related to: The 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; The 2015 Law on Organization of the Government, Article 1 of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2019 Law on Organization of the Government and the 2023 Law on Organization of Local Governments, Clause 3, Article 51 of the 2023 Law on Electronic Transactions; The 2015 Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents; The 2020 Law on Cadres and Civil Servants; Article 1 of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2019 Law on Cadres, Civil Servants and Public Employees; The 2018 Law on Anti-Corruption; Clause 3, Article 217 of the 2020 Law on Enterprises.
Along with that, there are also Decrees such as: Decree No. 138/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020 of the Government regulating the recruitment, use and management of civil servants; Decree No. 116/2024/ND-CP dated September 17, 2024 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 138/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020 regulating the recruitment, use and management of civil servants and Decree No. 06/2023/ND-CP dated February 21, 2023 regulating the quality assessment of civil servant input.
In addition, there are Resolution No. 76/NQ-CP dated July 15, 2021 of the Government promulgating the Overall Program for State Administrative Reform for the 2021-2030 period; Decree No. 59/2019/ND-CP dated July 1, 2019 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Anti-Corruption; Decree No. 134/2021/ND-CP dated December 30, 2021 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 59/2019/ND-CP dated July 1, 2019 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Anti-Corruption; Decree No. 112/2020/ND-CP dated September 18, 2020 of the Government on disciplinary action against cadres, civil servants and public employees; Decree No. 71/2023/ND-CP dated September 20, 2023 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 112/2020/ND-CP dated September 18, 2020 on disciplinary action against cadres, civil servants and public employees; Decree No. 68/2022/ND-CP dated September 22, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
Accordingly, Round 1 also includes an English test equivalent to level 3 of the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework, as stipulated in Circular No. 01/2014/TT-BGDDT dated January 24, 2014 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for use in Vietnam.
The test format includes 3 parts at level 3 (according to the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework), specifically as follows: Part 1. From question 1 to question 10: Read 10 single sentences, each with 1 blank, choose 1 correct option from 4 given options (multiple choice A, B, C, D) to fill in the blank; Part 2. From question 11 to question 20: Read a passage of about 250 words, with 10 questions related to information in the reading, each sentence with 4 options (multiple choice A, B, C, D). Answer each question by choosing 1 correct option from 4 given options; Part 3. From question 21 to question 30: Fill-in-the-blank reading passage, the reading passage is about 150 words long with 5 blanks. Each blank is provided with 4 given options (multiple choice A, B, C, D). Choose the most suitable option to fill in the blank.

Conditions: Zero conditional; 1st conditional; 2nd conditional; 3rd conditional ; mixed, inverted/unless, incase, as/so long as, provided (that).
Passive voice - Passive with present tenses: simple, continuous, perfect - Passive with past tenses: simple, continuous, perfect - Passive with future - Passive with modals: can, could, may, must - The causative, direct and indirect objects.
Reported speech, reported questions, reporting verbs.
Adverbial clauses: Concession/ contrast: although, although, even though, in spite of, despite... - Reason: because, since, as, because of, due to, owing to...
