Politburo appoints Secretary of Central Public Security Party Committee

After more than 40 years of working in the People's Public Security force, more than 26 years in the Party's ranks, he is a cadre who has grown from the grassroots, held many positions and been assigned many important responsibilities in the public security sector. Regardless of his position or assigned tasks, he always strives to train, strive, overcome difficulties, and complete the assigned tasks well and excellently.

In the new context and situation, the task of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety is increasingly heavy and complicated, the Standing member of the Secretariat believes that, with his steadfast political stance, rich experience, strategic vision and sharp, sensitive, decisive leadership, direction and management methods, daring to think, daring to speak, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security, will continue to stand firm in the face of all difficulties and challenges; promote the glorious tradition of the heroic People's Public Security force, the role of the strategic advisory body of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat in the field of ensuring security and order; fully perform the tasks and powers of the Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee according to the Working Regulations of the Central Public Security Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
