TPO - Thousands of visitors eagerly came to admire the mascots Kim Ty and Ngan Ty and enjoy Nguyen Hue flower street on the evening of December 28.

From 8:00 p.m. on January 27 (28th of Lunar New Year), Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet At Ty 2025 (HCMC) officially opened and served people to visit and enjoy.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Van Nen - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Ms. Truong My Hoa - former Vice President of the State along with many leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and related units.

As soon as it opened, the flower street was packed with people.

The pair of snake mascots on Nguyen Hue flower street are named Kim Ty and Ngan Ty with lengths of 42m and 25m respectively, their whole bodies winding in 3 intertwined circles, forming a base more than 11m wide, the height from the body adjacent to the flower base to the top of the head is over 6m high.

This year, Nguyen Hue Flower Street turns 22, considered a cultural symbol of Tet in Ho Chi Minh City.

This year's flower street has about 90 snake mascots with diverse colors and shapes, mostly concentrated behind the flower street's welcome gate.

Tourists shared that Nguyen Hue Flower Street this year is beautiful, vibrant and has harmonious colors.

The cool weather is very suitable for spring outings and flower viewing.

Mr. An (living in District 4) shared: "This year, the miniatures on the flower street are quite cute and eye-catching. Surely during Tet, my family and friends and I will come back to get the best pictures."

Many foreign tourists are also attracted by the uniqueness of this year's flower street.

Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet At Ty 2025 opens to serve the spring travel and sightseeing needs of city residents and tourists from 7:00 p.m. on January 27 (28th of Tet) to 9:00 p.m. on February 2 (5th of Tet).
