BIDV receives full set of awards from The Asian Banker

From "Having BIDV means having a House" to the best home loan product in Vietnam

“Having a house” is not only a financial goal, but also an important milestone, a solid foundation for each person’s life. BIDV understands that, so it has constantly strived to become a reliable companion on the journey of settling down for millions of Vietnamese families with a long-term commitment “Having BIDV means having a house”.

That effort was once again affirmed by The Asian Banker magazine when it continued to honor BIDV in the award category "Best Housing Loan Product in Vietnam 2025" within the framework of the "Vietnam Excellence in Retail Finance and Financial Technology Awards" ceremony, marking the 6th time BIDV was honored in this award category.

The event is more meaningful when BIDV has just officially announced a credit package of 40,000 billion VND to support young people to borrow to buy houses. This is the largest and most preferential credit package on the market for young people to buy houses according to the Government's policy, introduced by outstanding policies applied for the first time by BIDV. Accordingly, young people under 35 years old are given preferential fixed interest rates of 5.5% for 3 consecutive years, no principal repayment for the first 5 years and a maximum loan term of 40 years. The policy is not just numbers but also affirms BIDV's strong commitment and companionship with the young generation of Vietnam with the desire to support young people to confidently decide to own their own home.

In addition to preferential interest rates, long loan terms and maximum loan limits to meet customer needs, BIDV is also a pioneer in applying new technology in the housing credit process. Specifically, through the BIDV Home application, the loan process becomes faster and more transparent thanks to the integration of new technologies such as AI, Machine Learning and OCR. The system helps automatically process documents, reducing data entry time by up to 50%, while also consulting on suitable apartments and supporting smart real estate valuation based on market data, helping to optimize financial decisions.

This award is a special milestone, a record of BIDV's outstanding performance in the market in its 10-year journey of leading the domestic retail banking sector, and at the same time, a motivation for BIDV to continue to make more efforts with its pioneering mission for the homes of millions of Vietnamese families.

Also within the framework of the “Vietnam Excellence in Retail Finance and Financial Technology Awards” ceremony, BIDV was honored with the “Best Private Banking in Vietnam” award for the third consecutive time.
