Phu Sa music group was named by musician Lu Nhat Vu and poet Le Giang.
Also visiting musician Lu Nhat Vu were members of the Ho Chi Minh City artist volunteer team and many organizations and individuals.
MC Quynh Hoa - captain of the HCM City volunteer artist team, member of the Phu Sa group, deputy director of the HCM City Youth Cultural House - told Tuoi Tre Online that she and the Phu Sa group sang many songs composed by musician Lu Nhat Vu.
What's special is that the name Phu Sa was given to the band by musician Lu Nhat Vu and poet Le Giang with the hope that folk song lovers will continue to sing, like the flow of alluvium from generation to generation.
"The Phu Sa group had the chance to work with you a lot. You are very passionate about folk songs.
The song Song of the Southern Land was first sung by To Thanh Phuong. Later, the Phu Sa group sang with him in a program on HTV.
The song "The Pioneer" is performed the most by the group because it suits their voice. His music is easy to sing, emotional, and touches people's hearts" - MC Quynh Hoa said.

Singer Quoc Dai told Tuoi Tre Online : "Many generations of singers were sad to hear the news of musician Lu Nhat Vu's death, especially for singers who follow the traditional music genre, this is a great loss. I learned many lessons from my uncle and aunt (poet Le Giang - musician Lu Nhat Vu's wife - PV)".
Quoc Dai said he sang many songs composed by the late musician such as "Please rest assured, Mom" and "Song of the Southern Land".
In the program honoring musician Lu Nhat Vu - poet Le Giang more than a year ago produced by HTV, Quoc Dai sang Nho em cau hat do dua, Hanh trinh ly ngua o ...
"There are simple folk songs but to sing them well is very difficult, requiring the singer to understand and study them carefully. Choosing to sing his songs is also a way to practice his craft. Up to now, Quoc Dai still hasn't dared to release any albums about his compositions" - Quoc Dai emphasized.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City - shared with Tuoi Tre Online : "We did not think he would leave at this time. Therefore, the department has just assigned the task to the units to urgently complete the script.
This poetry and music night not only introduces musical works or poems but also builds a story, telling about the life and career of the uncle and aunt.
The union between uncle and aunt has become a beautiful image in their private lives, and there are many works left behind that show the bond between uncle and aunt.
We will carry out this program as soon as possible on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day."
