Hanoi Children's Hospital is the first specialized pediatric medical facility in the capital, with an investment of nearly 800 billion VND, expected to operate from October 9.
Hanoi Children's Hospital was built in Yen Nghia Ward (Ha Dong District) with an area of 6,700m2 and was completed after more than 2 years of construction. Phase 1 of the project includes 2 blocks of 6 floors and a basement with a total floor area of 34,364m².
The facility has 24 departments and 200 inpatient beds. The operating room area has 11 rooms, equipped with modern facilities, and will implement anesthesia techniques, multimodal pain relief, digestive surgery, kidney and urinary surgery, orthopedic surgery, ENT, maxillofacial surgery, etc.
It is expected that every day Hanoi Children's Hospital will examine and treat nearly 1,000 outpatients and provide inpatient treatment for 200 children.
The main lobby area of the hospital is spacious and comfortable. Patients will register for examination automatically via facial recognition and be guided to the examination area.
This place will also develop appointment booking services via website, fanpage and application, to increase convenience for people.
The hospital's staff consists of experienced doctors from major hospitals in Hanoi such as: National Children's Hospital, Saint Paul General Hospital, and Hanoi Medical University.
"The hospital hopes to provide high-quality medical services, as well as reduce the burden on the National Children's Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital and neighboring provinces," said the hospital's leader.
