The child's airway was controlled by mechanical ventilation; blood pressure was controlled by maintaining intravenous and oral antihypertensive drugs; blood transfusion was given to support blood loss due to gastrointestinal bleeding.

And specific treatment of severe kidney damage in the context of Henoch Scholein purpura.

Two days later, the child was off the ventilator, alert, and signs of gastrointestinal bleeding were controlled.

After 7 days of intensive treatment, the child's health condition improved significantly: he ate well, was happy, clinical indicators were stable, and test results gradually improved. The child was discharged from the hospital and was monitored for outpatient treatment according to the doctors' regimen.

According to doctors at Hanoi Children's Hospital, Henoch-Scholein purpura is a small blood vessel inflammation. The disease is related to an abnormal reaction of the immune system, often occurring after an infection or due to allergies.

Typical symptoms of the disease are petechiae in the legs, joint pain, abdominal pain and possible kidney damage.

If not treated promptly, the disease causes dangerous complications such as gastrointestinal bleeding, high blood pressure, and severe kidney damage if not treated promptly.

Therefore, Master, Doctor Truong Manh Tu - Head of the Department of Internal Medicine, Hanoi Children's Hospital recommends that when children have abnormal signs such as hemorrhagic rash, prolonged abdominal pain or hematuria, parents should take their children to the hospital immediately for examination and timely treatment to avoid possible complications.
