Newborn baby boy abandoned in cold night

(Dan Tri) – A newborn baby boy was left in front of a house in Quang Tri, with a handwritten note saying, “Please help raise him. Due to difficult circumstances, I cannot afford to raise him.”

On December 21, Mr. Le Van Khanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Don Ward, Quang Tri Town, Quang Tri Province, said that the locality is seeking relatives for an abandoned child.

Previously, at around 11:15 p.m. on December 20, the People's Committee of An Don Ward received information that a newborn baby boy was abandoned in front of a house in Quarter 1, An Don Ward. The baby was 7-8 days old, wearing a long-sleeved shirt, a hat, gloves, wrapped in a towel and placed in a blue plastic basket.

Accompanying the baby were 5 newborn shirts, 1 diaper bag, 10 newborn diapers, 1 bottle of prepared milk and a handwritten note saying, “Please help raise the baby. Due to difficult circumstances, we are unable to raise the baby. Thank you.”

Currently, the child's health is stable, and the People's Committee of An Don Ward has assigned the child to a local household for temporary care.

After the time of notification to find relatives, if no one contacts to claim the child, An Don Ward People's Committee will carry out procedures according to legal regulations.
