On June 11, information from the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Ninh Province said that the unit has just issued a decision to initiate criminal proceedings, prosecute the accused and temporarily detain 3 subjects to investigate drug trafficking.
Amount of drugs seized by authorities from the subjects
The arrested subjects include: Hoang Van Loc (32 years old, residing in Dai Hop commune, Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city); Do Huu Hoang (32 years old, residing in zone 1, Hoa Lac ward, Mong Cai city) and Bui Anh Duc (27 years old, residing in zone 3, Hong Ha ward, Ha Long city).
Through investigation by Quang Ninh Provincial Police, at around 2:45 a.m. on May 31, at Green Park urban area (Hai Xuan commune, Mong Cai city), the authorities discovered and caught Bui Anh Duc and Hoang Van Loc hiding drugs for the purpose of selling.
At the scene, the authorities also seized 86 ecstasy pills, 4 bottles of liquid ketamine, more than 104 plastic bags of happy water drugs, and 853.861 grams of ketamine.
Working with the investigation agency, Hoang Van Loc confessed that from the beginning of March 2024 until the time of his arrest, Loc and Hoang contributed capital to buy drugs, divide them into small amounts, and then sell them retail for profit.
In addition, Hoang Van Loc also confessed to hiring Bui Anh Duc to bring drugs to sell to buyers.
The subjects released it to the "market" for sale at 500,000 VND/1 ecstasy pill, 2 million VND/1 gram of ketamine and 6 million VND/1 bag of happy water drug.
