At 10:30 a.m. on July 7, at Lung Xa village, Long Luong commune, Van Ho district, Van Ho district police coordinated with Moc Chau district police, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, and the Mobile Police Department of the provincial police to arrest Song A Lau, residing in Lung Xa village, Long Luong commune.
The subject was arrested under Wanted Decision No. 34 dated May 22, 2005 of the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Ninh Province Police for the crime of illegal drug trafficking. The authorities seized from the subject 1 pistol, 1 ammunition clip, 6 bullets (of which 1 bullet was loaded), 1 mobile phone, and a number of other related evidence.
