Ba Be Lake is located in Bac Kan Province, a northeastern province of Vietnam, about 164 km from Hanoi. Nature has bestowed upon Bac Kan the precious gem of Ba Be with a clear and peaceful lake, giving visitors a pleasant vibe. Ba Be Lake is not alone. The lake is located in Ba Be National Park - home to diverse flora and fauna, including rare species such as the white-winged wood duck. Visitors can explore the beautiful trails in the park and waterfalls hidden in deep forests, caves and traditional ethnic minority villages. Nguom Ngao Cave is located in the northeast of Cao Bang Province. Ritz Herald rated the cave as one of the most enchanting natural wonders of Vietnam. This limestone cave is famous for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites, shimmering underground rivers and a unique ecosystem containing many rare species of plants and animals. To reach Nguom Ngao Cave, visitors can travel by car or motorbike from Cao Bang City to Trung Khanh District, about 90 km away. However, the road to the cave is quite rough, winding mountain roads, visitors should be careful when traveling here. Ban Gioc Waterfall is located in the northeast of Cao Bang province. The waterfall marks the border between Vietnam and China. The 30m high waterfall is a natural water source for green trees to grow. The environment around the waterfall is a fascinating arrangement of nature with towering limestone cliffs, clear blue water and vibrant vegetation. The best time to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall is during the rainy season, lasting from May to September. Pu Luong Nature Reserve (Thanh Hoa) is famous for its panoramic views of vast terraced rice fields, towering limestone peaks and waterwheels typical of the Thai and Muong people. Visitors can take a bus or private car from Hanoi along Highway 6, about 160 km to reach Pu Luong. Lang Co Bay (Hue) is a picturesque and pristine beach in Vietnam.
