Vietnam's leading tourist city is considered modern and has a fast tourism growth rate. The number of international visitors to Da Nang in the first 9 months of the year was 1.6 million, 5.8 times higher than the same period in 2022, equal to 67% compared to the same period in 2019, according to data from the Da Nang Department of Tourism.
There are now many direct flights from popular tourist destinations in Asia such as Taipei, Seoul or Tokyo to Da Nang. International visitors can "easily fly directly to the coastal city in central Vietnam" instead of having to transfer in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi.
From Da Nang, tourists can also easily visit famous nearby tourist attractions such as My Son Sanctuary, Hoi An, and the ancient capital of Hue. These locations are all less than two hours away from Da Nang by car. Right in the coastal city, there are also a variety of accommodations, dining, attractions, and tourist activities to explore.

Tourists coming here "should dress simply, respect the local culture", and can burn incense to pray for good luck.
Another famous tourist destination in Da Nang is called Ba Na Hills, located at an altitude of more than 1,500 m above sea level. From here, visitors can visit the Golden Bridge, "a favorite check-in spot on Instagram".
The Observer page suggests that visitors visit APEC Park, with the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture, which preserves ancient Cham cultural artifacts.
When visiting Da Nang, you cannot miss the culinary journey. The British newspaper introduces both local eateries and luxury restaurants in the coastal city. Modern style restaurants include Nen Restaurant and Madame Lan, serving creatively transformed Vietnamese dishes.
