Live firing test of PPK 57mm company and acceptance of production mission...

On March 28, at the National Shooting Range Region 1 (Shooting Range TB1), the Institute of Military Technical Automation, the Institute of Military Science and Technology (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army) presided over and coordinated with Division 361, Air Defense - Air Force Service to organize a live-fire test of the national-level project "Research, design, manufacture and integration of fire control systems for 57mm PPK companies for day and night operations" and accepted the task of mass production of "0" 37mm PPK companies for automatic day and night operations.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defense, directed the test firing session.

Speaking at the conclusion of the test firing session, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh praised the research results that the Military Technical Automation Institute had achieved in mass production of the 37mm PPK automatic day and night combat battery and the integration of the fire control system for the 57mm PPK battery.

At the same time, the Deputy Minister of National Defense directed the unit to continue promoting research work to perfect the products of the above two tasks, contributing to improving and modernizing air defense artillery companies in particular and existing weapons and technical equipment systems in general, meeting the training, combat readiness and combat requirements of the Army.
