The price of SJC gold bars is being sold by Agribank, BIDV, Vietcombank, VietinBank and gold and gemstone companies at 82 million VND/tael. On the buying side, the price of gold of the brands is listed at 80 million VND/tael.

Gold bar prices of DOJI, Bao Tin Manh Hai, Bao Tin Minh Chau brands are traded at 80.0 million VND/tael for buying and 82.0 million VND/tael for selling. The difference between the two sides is 2,000,000 VND/tael.
While the price of SJC gold bars remained stable, the price of gold rings increased, surpassing the previous record.
For gold rings, the listed price of SJC 9999 gold is 79.6 million VND/tael for buying and 80.8 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 600,000 VND in both directions.
DOJI in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City markets adjusted the buying price up by 700,000 VND and the selling price up by 650,000 VND to 80.1 million VND/tael and 81.2 million VND/tael, respectively. The buying price and selling price of PNJ brand gold rings are listed at 79.9 million VND/tael and 81.1 million VND/tael, an increase of 400,000 VND for buying and 550,000 VND for selling.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of plain round rings at 80.08 million VND/tael for buying and 81.18 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 690,000 VND for buying and 640,000 VND for selling.
Phu Quy SJC is buying gold rings at 80.1 million VND/tael and selling at 81.2 million VND/tael, an increase of 650,000 VND in both directions compared to early this morning.

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5am today, Vietnam time, was at 2,628.61 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 7.48 USD compared to yesterday's gold price. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 77.154 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 2.846 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Despite the recovery in the US dollar, optimism after the US Federal Reserve (Fed) cut interest rates last week combined with geopolitical tensions continued to fuel gold's rise.
The market is still reacting to the Fed's 50 basis point rate cut last Wednesday...The US central bank has signaled that it is not really worried about inflation and will do its best to control unemployment, according to TD Securities head of commodity strategy Bart Melek.
Melek said that if the employment rate declines sharply, the market will believe that the Fed is likely to cut interest rates further, which is very beneficial for gold. He also added that the instability in the Middle East could also boost the price of this precious metal.
“ We can’t get out of this financial situation, and that’s why all roads lead to gold,” said Ryan McIntyre, managing partner at Sprott Inc. “Eventually, the majority of investors will find their way to gold. And gold will definitely break through $3,000 an ounce; it’s just a matter of time .”
