NDO - Long Khanh City, Dong Nai Province is considered as “Da Lat of the Southeast” with a cool climate all year round. During the peak days of the dry season, while all places in the southern region are hot and sunny, Long Khanh is pleasant thanks to its green cover, considered as a “green oasis” of the Southeast.

Long Khanh City is located in the east of Dong Nai province in the Southern Key Economic Zone; adjacent to the Southeast, Central Highlands and Central Coast strategic economic zones. Long Khanh is 50km from Ho Chi Minh City with over 191km² of natural area and 171 thousand people, including 15 wards and communes.

Long Khanh has fertile land, favorable for growing industrial crops and fruit trees. Among them, durian, rambutan, and mangosteen are famous throughout the country, so this place is considered the "fruit paradise" of the Southeast region.

Long Khanh urban area has the highest tree coverage rate in the southern region at over 71%.

The Party Committee, government and people of the city are determined to build a "green-civilized-safe-modern" urban area, turning this land into a "green oasis" of the Southeast region.

Many "bright-green-clean-beautiful" model roads and residential areas have been built with voluntary contributions from the people.

In recent years, many specialty fruit gardens have been converted by Long Khanh farmers towards clean production, combined with eco-tourism, bringing high income and being environmentally friendly.

Long Khanh Victory Monument, a place that marks the evidence of 49 years ago when our army smashed the "steel door" of Xuan Loc, opening the way for our army to advance to Saigon to liberate the South and unify the country.

Long Khanh is also the locality with the highest proportion of elderly people in Dong Nai province. Currently, there are 16 people over 100 years old, of which Mrs. Trinh Thi Khong is the oldest at 119 years old.

Long Khanh is also the place where the spirit and attitude of serving the people of civil servants and public employees are considered the best in Dong Nai province.
