On the evening of March 20, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinated with the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) to organize the International Francophonie Day (March 20). On the international side, there were: Mr. Edgar Doerig, OIF's Asia-Pacific representative; Mr. Pierre du Ville, Head of the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam, Chairman of the Group of Francophone Ambassadors in Hanoi (GADIF) along with ambassadors, heads of delegations and representatives of many diplomatic agencies in Hanoi.

Comrade Nguyen Thuy Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Social Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Section of the Francophone Parliamentary Union, and delegates presented flowers to students of Doan Thi Diem Primary School at the International Francophone Day celebration.
