Recently, officers and soldiers of Long Phuoc Ward Police in particular and Binh Phuoc Provincial Police in general are racing against time to ensure the completion of the target of issuing chip-embedded ID cards to 100% of the people. During their duties, many beautiful stories and images of police officers and soldiers have left deep feelings in the hearts of the people.

Colonel Lam Van Long, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, together with leaders of Phuoc Long Town Police, inspected and directed the work of updating records, cleaning up population data and issuing ID cards at Long Phuoc Ward Police during the peak period.

In Long Phuoc ward, the cases that have not yet received their documents are all in very difficult circumstances. Many citizens were taken to the police station by vehicles to be taken to the headquarters to make their ID cards. The mobile ID card making team went to the homes of the elderly, disabled people... to carry out the procedures for making ID cards for 26 cases. The steps to receive documents took a long time because many citizens were seriously ill or old, making it difficult to take photos and collect fingerprints.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Em (91 years old) lives with her daughter in Quarter 3, Long Phuoc Ward. For many years, she has suffered from leg pain, high blood pressure, and is bedridden, and relies on her children and grandchildren to take care of her daily activities. She was surprised and touched when the police officers came to visit and make her a citizen identification card. Although the procedures for her were more difficult than for other citizens, the officers and soldiers made an effort to complete them, ensuring that the steps followed the regulations.

Officers and soldiers of Long Phuoc Ward Police coordinated with the Administrative Police Team for Social Order of Phuoc Long Town Police to collect photos and fingerprints of Ms. Nguyen Thi Em at home.

Another case is Mr. Pham Duy Hung (39 years old), who is disabled from birth and has to move around in a wheelchair. His life is difficult. Knowing his family's circumstances, officers and soldiers from the mobile team came to his house to collect documents and complete procedures to issue a CCCD for him. The thoughtfulness of the team members was recognized by the family and they expressed their deep gratitude. Mr. Pham Quang Du, Hung's biological father, emotionally shared: On behalf of the family, I would like to thank the officers and soldiers of the Ward Police for coming to make a CCCD for my son. My son is sick and has difficulty moving around. The timely care and support of the police officers and soldiers made the family very touched and warm.

Officers and soldiers of Long Phuoc Ward Police coordinated with the Administrative Management Police Team for Social Order of Phuoc Long Town Police to collect images to make a CCCD for Mr. Pham Duy Hung at home.

In addition to proactively handling situations, officers and soldiers also disseminate information to people about the benefits of CCCD, electronic identification accounts and guide people to install and activate VNeID accounts on smartphones. At the same time, promptly answer questions so that people understand correctly and fully the benefits and roles of CCCD and online public services.

Thanks to the urgent and active implementation, Long Phuoc Ward Police in coordination with Phuoc Long Town Police's professional team has completed the collection and issuance of ID cards for citizens reaching 100%; the work of managing and cleaning "correct, complete, clean, and alive" records, updating records of changes on the computer is carried out by officers and soldiers in accordance with regulations. The installation of VNeID accounts for people has reached nearly 92% of the target and is continuing to propagate and coordinate with departments, branches, and localities to implement drastically, ensuring the early completion of the assigned targets.

During the implementation process, there were some difficulties and problems such as the elderly and sick people having difficulty moving around. The Ward Police proactively sent officers and soldiers to their homes to take people to the headquarters to make CCCDs. Out of a total of 465 cases, there were 26 cases of the elderly and disabled people who were bedridden at home. The Ward Police proactively advised the leaders of the Town Police to direct the Social Order Administrative Management Team to go to their homes to carry out procedures for issuing mobile CCCDs and prioritize these policy subjects without charging fees.
