A working group will be established to synthesize and coordinate the handling of public assets during the merger and streamlining of the apparatus.

(CTTĐTBP) - On the afternoon of April 9, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Mi and representatives of relevant departments, agencies and sectors attended an online meeting to implement the conclusions of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Finance, chaired by Deputy Minister Bui Van Khang.
At the meeting, representatives of units and organizations reported the results before and after implementing Conclusion 126 and Conclusion 127 of the Politburo and the Secretariat up to the present time; on that basis, they proposed plans for using and arranging public assets and real estate projects being implemented by each unit and field. The meeting also aimed to listen to difficulties in the process of implementing the streamlining of the administrative apparatus in order to have timely solutions.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Mi chaired the meeting at Binh Phuoc bridge point.
The meeting received 14 opinions from units and localities that need to have a plan to remove difficulties for the following issues: Arranging redundant offices before and after the formation of the new administrative apparatus; converting the unit managing public assets; arranging and handling real estate, public investment projects under construction, repair and projects preparing to be implemented but changing the purpose of use after the merger, streamlining the administrative apparatus.
On that basis, the Ministry of Finance will guide units and localities to implement plans to arrange and handle redundant headquarters and administrative agencies, and real estate projects under construction in a reasonable and appropriate manner in accordance with the current situation of administrative apparatus arrangement, avoiding waste of public assets as well as project construction progress. Thereby, helping units and localities to confidently carry out their tasks in accordance with the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat in accordance with current legal documents and regulations.
Representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors attended the meeting.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister of Finance Bui Van Khang highly appreciated the positive results that ministries, branches and localities have achieved up to this point. The handling and arrangement of the volume of public assets and public investment projects is currently the biggest task ever, so it is recommended that units and localities review and count public assets and public investment projects very carefully, and the reported data must be accurate. The Ministry of Finance will establish a working group as a synthesizing and coordinating agency to handle public assets when merging and streamlining the administrative apparatus. At the same time, it will guide units and localities to implement in accordance with the actual situation and in accordance with the provisions of law./.
