Support the construction of 6 centralized domestic water projects

BPO - That is one of the goals set by the Provincial People's Committee in Plan No. 112/KH-UBND dated April 7, 2025 on implementing the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas (DTTS&MN) in the province in 2025 (phase 1).

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee set the goal of strengthening propaganda, mobilization, and integrating resources to successfully implement the goals and tasks of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in 2025 (Phase 1), specifically: Solving land for 1 household; housing for 43 households (building new houses for 32 households and repairing houses for 11 households); supporting job conversion for 12 households; supporting decentralized domestic water for 10 households; supporting centralized domestic water for 6 projects.

Strive for 100% of villages to have solid roads to the center; complete investment in a number of infrastructure projects in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.   Support sustainable agricultural and forestry economic development associated with forest protection and increasing people's income.   Over 95% of pregnant women are informed, receive regular prenatal check-ups, receive medical support, and give birth at medical facilities or with the assistance of medical staff . Support to improve nutrition for 100% of malnourished children in ethnic minority areas.  

Build and improve facilities, equipment, and teaching aids for ethnic minority boarding and semi-boarding schools in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; provide vocational training for about 200 people; create more jobs and increase income for about 100 poor and near-poor ethnic minority and Kinh households in extremely disadvantaged communes and villages; provide knowledge on ethnic policies and ethnic affairs for cadres, civil servants, public employees, grassroots cadres, and communities.

Organizing training courses, professional development, teaching intangible culture; building traditional cultural models; folk cultural clubs in villages and hamlets of ethnic minority and mountainous areas; supporting art troupes to be established at cultural houses - sports areas of villages and hamlets; supporting equipment for cultural houses - sports areas in villages and hamlets; building cultural and sports institutions in villages and hamlets of ethnic minority and mountainous areas; restoring typical festivals in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; implementing investment in preserving typical traditional villages and hamlets of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development...

The program is implemented in communes and villages of ethnic minority and mountainous areas of the province; in which, priority is given to investment resources of the program for extremely difficult areas (especially difficult communes and villages), safe zone communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Beneficiaries include: Communes and villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; ethnic minority households and individuals and Kinh households and individuals who are poor or near-poor living in extremely disadvantaged communes and villages; enterprises , cooperatives, cooperative unions, and economic organizations operating in extremely disadvantaged communes and villages.

The Provincial People's Committee also clearly stipulates the content and support levels for the projects. In particular, Project 1, solves the shortage of residential land, housing, production land (job conversion), and domestic water, specifically: Support residential land for 1 household, support level of 46 million VND/household. Support for housing construction for 43 households: Support for building new houses for 32 households, support level of 86 million VND/household; support for house repair for 11 households, support level of 43 million VND/household. Support for job conversion for 12 households (each household is supported once), support level of 11.5 million VND/household. Support for decentralized domestic water for 10 households, support level of 3.5 million VND/household. Support for the construction of 6 centralized domestic water works according to regulations to ensure the supply of hygienic domestic water for people. Project 1 has a total allocated capital of 21,659 billion VND...

The total planned capital for implementing the program in the province in 2025 (phase 1) is 40,655 billion VND, including: 36,959 billion VND from the central budget and 3,696 billion VND from the provincial counterpart budget. The integrated support capital from the Provincial Fund for the Poor is 1.5 billion VND.
