On December 3, the Office of the People's Committee of An Giang province said that Mr. Ho Van Mung, Chairman of the People's Committee of the province, has just signed and issued a plan to implement a peak emulation campaign to complete the construction of the expressway.
The purpose of this is to raise awareness, responsibility and action of all levels, sectors and the whole society in implementing goals, tasks and solutions for developing transport infrastructure.
Contractors are busy constructing the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressway, the section passing through An Giang province.
Currently, in An Giang province, relevant units are implementing the construction of Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressway phase 1. Of which, component project 1 in An Giang province has a length of 57.2km, invested in a 4-lane scale, designed speed of 100km/h. In the completed phase, the project will be invested in a 6-lane scale.
Accordingly, the competition contents aim at creative work, completing on schedule, exceeding the plan, ensuring the quality of highway works and projects in districts, towns and cities under the direction of the Steering Committee for important works and projects of the province.
Workers are trying to complete the assigned workload according to regulations.
Ensure quality, technique, aesthetics, environmental sanitation, labor safety, and create landscape for the project's development space after completion; coordinate with relevant sectors to remove difficulties and obstacles related to construction materials and site clearance.
The peak emulation period will be implemented from August 2024, with a preliminary review in December 2024 and a final review at the end of 2025.
