Ms. Huynh Lan Phuong, Deputy General Director of VWS Company, gave a Tet gift to Mr. Phuong Thanh Tung.

Struggling to slowly rock his wheelchair to receive the gift, Mr. Phuong Thanh Tung (78 years old, residing in Hamlet 1, Da Phuoc Commune) burst into tears when Ms. Huynh Lan Phuong, Deputy General Director of VWS Company, asked about his situation. Mr. Tung said that both he and his wife were old and had many illnesses, their children were grown but unemployed, and life was extremely difficult.

Previously, Mr. Tung sold lottery tickets and earned a little money, just enough to get by. However, due to his stroke, he cannot move around as much as before, and often has to go out on the street and wait for the kindness of passersby.

"Luckily, the local authorities always care about my family's situation, and charity programs always give gifts. Today, I was very touched to receive Tet gifts from the company, which helped me feel more secure and happier as Tet approaches," Mr. Tung shared.

Upon learning about Mr. Tung’s situation, Ms. Lan Phuong could not help but be moved and encouraged him to try harder. At the same time, she sent a small gift of her own, wishing Mr. Tung good health and happiness in the new year.
