Agribank honored to receive the Vietnam Golden Star Award 2024

On the evening of December 24, 2024, in Hanoi, Agribank was honored with the 2024 Vietnam Golden Star Award. This award honors strong, large-scale, reputable enterprises in the market, with sustainable business development, and important contributions to the country's socio-economic development.

Attending the program were comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, and representatives of leaders of a number of ministries, branches, central agencies and enterprises that won the Vietnam Gold Star Award.

The Vietnam Golden Star is one of the national awards, presented to typical Vietnamese brands and products, assigned by the Prime Minister to the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association to organize since 2003 and has become a symbol of success, affirming the position and brand of Vietnamese enterprises and brands that are competitive with the world, have prestige, and are especially recognized by society and the business community.

Launched in July 2024, the Vietnam Golden Star Award continues to affirm its pioneering role in developing national brands. Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Dang Hong Anh said that after selecting from provinces, cities and units, 293 enterprises from 53 provinces and cities across the country were nominated to participate in the Award. Through a scientific, transparent and objective voting process including preliminary rounds, actual assessment and final selection, the Voting Council selected the TOP 10 - TOP 100 - TOP 200 Vietnam Golden Star brands in 2024.

Participating in the Vietnam Golden Star Program, businesses are evaluated through scoring criteria groups including: total assets, equity, total revenue, budget payment, profit after tax, profit margin/equity contribution, number of employees, digital transformation activities, green transformation and sustainable development...

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh affirmed: The Party and State always attach importance to and appreciate the role of enterprises, considering them an important driving force for the development and economic growth of the country. Enterprises receiving the Vietnam Golden Star Award are evidence of their strong efforts on the journey of international integration and sustainable development. This is not only an opportunity to honor outstanding enterprises and entrepreneurs, but also an opportunity to look back on the proud achievements that enterprises have contributed to the country.
