In 12,000 pages of statements, in addition to accounts transferring large sums of money, from millions to billions of dong, there are many sums of money that attract attention not because of the large amount but because of the heart sent with it.

Specifically, hundreds of money transfer messages with amounts of 5,000, 6,000, 20,000 VND... the sender apologized, expressing sincerity and remorse because the amount of support was not much.

One account transferred 8,582 VND with the message: "I'm sorry, I'm just a student. I really want to contribute more. I'm useless. Pray for the safety of the people suffering from floods."

"I would like to support the people of the North. This is the only asset I have at the moment. I sincerely apologize. I hope everyone is safe," an account donated 20,000 VND with a message.

In the statement, an account that transferred 350,000 VND also apologized for transferring less money than others. "I only have 400,000 VND left, please keep 50,000 VND for my internship report. I hope everyone will understand me," the account owner expressed.

Mr. Minh Tue, a teacher in a province in the West, expressed his heart moved by the messages of support from people in flood-affected areas.

"While some people are busy "pretending", living "in a flashy way", profiting from the pain of the community, many other hearts are silently contributing, giving away everything they have. They apologize while they themselves have done nothing wrong. I believe that society still has many good people who know how to sympathize and share with their fellow countrymen," he said.

A teacher from the West also said that he had just witnessed students at Le Van Tam High School (Soc Trang province) calling each other to donate money to send to flood victims in the North.

"I'm sorry I don't have much money. This is our heart. I hope you can overcome this difficult time," said Huynh Thi Bich Duyen, a student at the school.
