Minutes earlier, a man was shot to death and another was wounded in downtown Chicago, police said. No one was in custody following the incident. Hours later, another man was shot to death and a woman was wounded in Little Italy. The cause of the shooting remains under investigation.
There were at least six fatal shootings on June 3, leaving a total of six people dead and two injured. On June 2, Chicago police said a 16-year-old girl was injured in a shooting in Austin. In addition, there was a shooting targeting a car carrying four people, including two children. Accordingly, a 27-year-old man was shot in the back and a 32-year-old woman was shot in the right leg. The two children were not injured. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
