41 projects to arrange and merge agencies and units

(NLDO) - Khanh Hoa province is developing 41 projects to reorganize agencies and organizations. In which, the province's newspapers and radio stations will merge.

The Organizing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has just issued Official Dispatch No. 5768-CV/BTCTU requesting agencies and units to urgently develop a Project/Report on establishment, dissolution, termination of operations, consolidation, merger, and organizational structure arrangement (referred to as the Project) ... to send to the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee before December 25, 2024 for synthesis and reporting to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Steering Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and Provincial Party Committee.

Media consolidation

The Project/Request for arrangement will be implemented in 29 Party agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations in Khanh Hoa and 12 Project/Request for arrangement in State agencies.

Specifically: Ending the activities of the Party Executive Committee of the agencies such as the Provincial People's Committee, the People's Procuracy, and the People's Court of Khanh Hoa province; ending the activities of the Party Delegation: the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Veterans Association, the Provincial Farmers' Association, the Provincial Labor Federation, the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Science and Technology Union, and the Provincial Literature and Arts Association.

End of activities of 5 Steering Committees (Party and mass organization development in private economic units, foreign information work...).

There are 2 party committees that will be dissolved and end their operations: the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and the Party Committee of Provincial Enterprises.

There are 4 agencies and organizations that will arrange the organizational structure, including: Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Office, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the province, Provincial Labor Federation and Khanh Hoa Provincial Political School.

Merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department with the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; Merge Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station with Khanh Hoa Newspaper.

The Organizing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee will develop a proposal and project to establish two new agencies: the Party Committee of the Party, Mass Organizations, People's Council, Judiciary of the province and the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Government.

The Party Committee of Nha Trang University and the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa University will move from being directly under the Provincial Party Committee to being directly under the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Government.

In the State sector, there will be 12 Projects/Requests for arrangement.

In which, the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance; the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology; the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs with the Department of Home Affairs; the Department of Culture - Sports and the Department of Tourism will be merged.

Merge the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works and the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic Works. Merge the Department of Foreign Affairs into the Office of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province.

There are 8 departments, branches and sectors that are not subject to consolidation, merger or adjustment of functions and tasks but have internal organizational structure arrangements, including: Department of Justice, Department of Industry and Trade, Provincial Inspectorate, Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board, Development Project Management Board, Khanh Hoa University, Khanh Hoa Medical College, Nha Trang College of Technology...

However, these 8 departments and branches proposed a plan to reduce at least 15% of the number of internal organizational units in accordance with the situation and characteristics of each agency.
