Delivering the opening speech, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the City Youth Union Council Dao Duc Viet emphasized that the Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress is an opportunity to honor shining examples in studying, training and dedication.

They have achieved excellent results in studying and scientific research; are pioneers in the movements "Thousands of good deeds", "Children of the Capital follow Uncle Ho's teachings"; are examples of strong will, overcoming difficulties, knowing how to share and help friends, actively participating in protecting the environment, preserving national cultural identity - said the Chairman of the City Youth Union Council.

The City Youth Union has been implementing many practical and meaningful activities to accompany children. In the period of 2020-2025, the movement "Children of the Capital compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" has spread widely, associated with education on traditions, ethics, lifestyle and social practice skills.

Programs for disadvantaged children, activities to support students in remote areas, Truong Sa island district, the northern border, etc. have been implemented with a total value of billions of VND. At the same time, digital transformation models in Team activities such as "Digital Team Activities", "Digital Maps" of red addresses have helped children approach history and knowledge in a more vivid and creative way.

Expressing her joy at meeting the outstanding children, the typical examples of the thousand-year-old capital, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha emphasized: The city is always proud and has great expectations for the future owners of the capital and the country. Therefore, the work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement are always directed by the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, creating favorable conditions for children to study, practice and develop comprehensively.
