Bao Lam children compete to follow Uncle Ho's teachings

Bao Lam District Youth Union is interested in carrying out many activities to care for teenagers and children.

In Bao Lam district, there are currently 14 commune-level Team Councils, 38 Unions, 406 teams with a total of 20,695 team members and children. The dynamism and enthusiasm of the Team Leaders and through the rich, diverse and meaningful programs and activities implemented have helped the Team work and children's movement in Bao Lam district to have positive changes, achieving many encouraging results. The highlight in the period of 2020 - 2025 is the Vietnam Children's Movement competing to implement well the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho. Thereby, the District Team Council has honored 3,929 children with outstanding achievements in the Vietnam Children's Movement competing to implement well the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho.

Specifically, with the implementation of the teaching "Love the Fatherland, love the people", thousands of children across the district have participated in propaganda and education activities about the history and revolutionary traditions of the nation associated with the journey "I love Vietnam" such as: organizing 80 activities to "red addresses" for 12,604 students; the movement of speaking good words, doing good deeds; organizing 467 thematic activities to celebrate major holidays and important events of the country, organizing the Youth Union and the Young Pioneers for nearly 27,000 children; 631 children visited and gave gifts to 122 families of war invalids and martyrs, families with meritorious services to the revolution, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the district; 129 propaganda and education activities for children about the history and revolutionary traditions of the nation...

In addition to cultivating and training patriotism, Bao Lam children have also implemented the teaching of "Study well, work well" through actively participating in learning movements such as: "Overcoming difficulties to study well", "Good grades", "Clean notebooks, beautiful handwriting", "Study regularly, study enough, study hard"... Thereby, there have been more than 95,000 ten-point flowers, 66,400,000 good study periods and good study hours registered. Along with that, the activities of 39 foreign language clubs, 46 academic clubs; 2,811 "pairs of friends progressing together", "friends helping friends"...

Following the teaching of "Good solidarity, good discipline" of beloved Uncle Ho, Bao Lam children always try to follow the rules and regulations of the school and class; follow the Charter and Rituals of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers. For example, in the area, 83 sports clubs, 90 cultural clubs, 59 young radio clubs, 64 young propaganda clubs have been developed; children actively participate in 209 cultural, physical education and sports activities to practice collective living skills, improve health, improve physical strength and develop talents.

At the same time, implementing the teaching of "Maintaining good hygiene", Bao Lam children have deployed 216 school cleaning campaigns, experiential activities, exploration, and environmental protection propaganda with more than 20,060 participants; deployed the Green Classroom Model, For a Green School, Friendly Toilets, and Taking Care of Flower Gardens in the School Campus. Particularly for the teaching of "Modesty, Honesty, Courage", Bao Lam team members and children always try to practice courage and honesty in studying, living and in daily life; through which, 8,370 students have been recognized in the columns "I do good deeds", "Small flowers", "Good examples of team members"...

Proud to be a member of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team, Nguyen Minh Hung, a student of class 5A2 - Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School, is one of the "flowers" of Uncle Ho's Good Children who have just been honored by the Bao Lam District Young Pioneers Council. He shared: "As a member, I always try to practice and practice well the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho. During the 5 years of primary school, I have followed the rules and regulations of the class and school well and actively participated in activities and movements launched by the Young Pioneers Union and the Young Pioneers Council. Through this, I have trained myself to be self-disciplined and strive to improve in my studies to become a good child and good student who obeys Uncle Ho's teachings."

According to Mr. Le Xuan Vu - Secretary of Bao Lam District Youth Union, local Youth Unions are always proactive in developing specific plans for programs at the grassroots level. Thanks to that, team members and children are always enthusiastic in participating in Team activities organized by the school and the District Youth Union Council; from here, many new models and methods have been implemented and replicated. To continue promoting the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers, Bao Lam children will always keep in mind Uncle Ho's advice "Whether the Vietnamese nation can stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's great powers depends largely on your studies" and take that as motivation to try to study well, compete to improve morality, and train your talents to be worthy future masters of the country.
