The traditional table tennis tournament of the Vietnam Journalists Association of Quang Binh province is an annual sports activity to celebrate the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21). Thereby, it creates conditions for athletes to exchange and learn, arouse passion for sports, improve health, strengthen solidarity, and contribute to promoting the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to the teams participating in the tournament.
The tournament was attended by 24 athletes from agencies and units including: Quang Binh Radio and Television Station, Quang Binh Newspaper, Provincial People's Court, Quang Binh University, Internal Affairs News and Senior Journalists Club.
The athletes competed in 5 categories: Men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. After a day of exciting competition, the athletes gave the audience many dramatic and exciting matches.
Exciting competitions
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second and third prizes for each competition. Specifically: First prizes for each category (men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles) respectively went to the athletes: Tuan Nha (National University), Hoang Nhung (Quang Binh Radio and Television Station), Dinh Khoa-Tuan Nha (National University), Kim Hue-Mai Hoa (National University), Minh Ngoc-Quang Luc (Provincial People's Court).
Second prizes were awarded to the following athletes: Vo Viet Hung (Doi Chinh News), Kim Hue (National University), Xuan Hoang-Duc Quynh (Quang Binh Newspaper), Thu Hien-My Hanh (Quang Binh Newspaper), Xuan Hoang-My Hanh (Quang Binh Newspaper).
The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the winning athletes in the mixed doubles event.
Third prizes in each category went to the following athletes: Dinh Khoa (National University), Phan Hoa (Elderly Journalists Club), Mai Hoa (National University), Minh Ngoc (Provincial People's Court), Huu Sy-Quang Luc (Provincial People's Court), Duc Anh-Ngoc Hai (Quang Binh Radio and Television Station), Cao Nhan-Thanh Xuan (Quang Binh Newspaper), Truong Tu-Nguyen Tuyen (National University), Duc Quynh-Thu Hien (Quang Binh Newspaper), Ngoc Hai-Hoang Nhung (Quang Binh Radio and Television Station).
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the style prize to Quang Binh Radio and Television Station.
