20/45 initiatives recognized by Binh Phuoc Provincial Initiative Council

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh, Chairman of the Provincial Innovation Council chaired the meeting.

Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Huong Giang contributed ideas to the initiatives.

According to the report on the status of receiving and processing initiative dossiers, as of June 15, 2023, the Secretariat has received, compiled and processed 45 dossiers. Of which, 25 dossiers have been consulted by the council and left behind from 2022 due to not meeting the criteria for consideration; 7 dossiers left behind from the first batch of 2023 and 13 newly received dossiers.

At the meeting, the council members frankly pointed out the advantages as well as the shortcomings in the content and practicality of the topics. At the same time, they said that the initiatives must be new and highly applicable.

Director of the Department of Science and Technology Bui Thi Minh Thuy has contributed ideas to the initiatives.

Deputy Head of Science and Technology Management Department, Department of Science and Technology Hoang Phuoc Anh, on behalf of the Secretariat, reported on the status of receiving and processing applications for consideration of recognition of provincial-level initiatives.

After discussion and analysis, the Secretariat presented to the Council for consideration and approval of 33 applications for recognition of initiatives belonging to the block of provincial agencies and units and initiatives in the field of education and training. Through voting, 20 initiatives were unanimously recognized by the Provincial Initiative Council.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh, Chairman of the Provincial Innovation Council said: The goal of initiatives must be substantial, ensuring effectiveness, right people, right job.

In order for the recognition of provincial initiatives to be more effective in the coming time, Chairman of the Provincial Innovation Council Tran Tuyet Minh emphasized that the goal is to make initiatives substantial, ensuring effectiveness, right people, right work; promoting meaningful solutions that can be widely recognized within the scope of agencies, units, localities and the whole province. At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial Innovation Council suggested that the Secretariat should invite a team of experts to participate in the next meetings to consider and recognize initiatives. In addition, the Secretariat must have a clear, specific and objective viewpoint on initiatives based on practical foundations, specific legal bases, etc.
