Couple died in coffee plantation, suspected of electrocution

Accordingly, in the afternoon of the same day, Mr. YQ (born in 1987, residing in Thuan An commune, Dak Mil district) and his wife, Ms. HT (born in 1990) went to their family's field in Thuan Nam village, Thuan An commune.

At around 4:30 p.m. the same day, people discovered the couple dead in the field and reported it to the authorities.

According to initial information, Mr. YQ and his wife went to the field to remove a surveillance camera mounted on an iron tree about 10 meters high. While they were removing the camera, the iron tree unfortunately collided with the power grid, causing an electric shock that killed both husband and wife on the spot.

The victims' families determined that the cause of death was electrocution and refused an autopsy. Authorities have handed over the bodies of the two victims to their families for funeral arrangements.
