Thai Nguyen: 150 candidates taking the thinking assessment exam at Hanoi University of Science and Technology had to stop taking the test because the Internet was lost.
Associate Professor Vu Duy Hai, Head of Admissions and Career Guidance Department, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, announced the above information on the morning of March 10. The affected candidates were from 5 examination rooms, in the remaining rooms, candidates took the exam normally.
"The school has sent an email and also notified the candidates' exam registration accounts about this," said Mr. Hai, informing that the students will be transferred to the 1:00 p.m. exam this afternoon.
Ms. Vu Thanh Nhan in Hanoi, whose child took the exam on the morning of March 10, said she saw these students leaving around 9am. Her child's exam room was fortunately not affected.
According to Ms. Nhan, because she could not register for an exam in Hanoi, she and many other families moved from the capital to Thai Nguyen yesterday or early this morning to be on time. This morning, many families checked out of their rented rooms, planning to return home right after their children finished the exam. Therefore, candidates who switched to the afternoon exam will have a bit of inconvenience.
