On the afternoon of May 29, the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health announced that a food poisoning incident had just occurred in Son Dien commune, Di Linh district due to eating wild mushrooms, in which 15 people had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.
Of these, 3 people are still being treated at medical facilities.
Previously, on May 26, Mr. K'Bet's family (residing in Son Dien commune, Di Linh district) went to the forest to pick mushrooms and distributed them to 7 other families living nearby for food.

However, 30 minutes after eating, these people all had symptoms of chest tightness, vomiting, diarrhea, and 2 people had convulsions.
At 8:00 p.m. on May 26, the poisoned people were taken to Son Dien commune health station for examination.
Immediately after receiving the information, Di Linh District Medical Center sent 2 ambulances, 2 doctors and 2 nurses to assist and transfer the patient to the District Medical Center for further treatment.

After confirming the level of poisoning, 2 patients were treated at Son Dien commune health station, 10 people were taken to the emergency room and treated at Di Linh district medical center, 2 people were transferred to Lam Dong II Hospital.
Currently, the health status of the patients is stable, alert, and responsive.
Immediately after the incident, the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health directed the Food Safety and Hygiene Department to propagate to people not to eat wild mushrooms or mushrooms of unknown origin.
