In the first phase of 2024, the OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council of Thuy Nguyen District, Hai Phong evaluated 13 products of 12 entities with 4 product sectors of 7 main product groups participating in the Program and achieved 3-star rating. Of which, the product sector is food with 6 products including: Custard apple (Lai Xuan Agricultural Production, Business and Service Cooperative); sweet guava (Hoang Dinh Tranh Business Household, Kien Bai Commune); Oyster mushroom (Nguyen Khac Hoa Business Household, Hoa Dong Commune); Sterilized pork-flavored sausage (Minh Vu Food Processing Company Limited); Squid cake, Fish cake (Le Van Binh Business Household, Nui Deo Town).
2 products belong to the beverage industry including: Dat Cang wine (Nguyen The Luc business household - Dat Cang wine production facility, Luu Ky commune); Hoang Son country wine (Hoang Son wine business household, Hoa Binh commune).
2 products in the handicraft industry include: 2-wing cast aluminum alloy gate (Nguyen Cao Thang Business Household, My Dong Commune) and Lotus embroidered Ao Dai (Binh An Store Business Household, Tan Duong Commune).
3 products of the ornamental plant industry include: Layon flowers of Thien Huong Agricultural Production, Business and Service Cooperative; Quan Am Lotus (Hoang Thi Huong Business Household, Thuy Son Commune); Marble Bougainvillea (Tran Van Dieu Business Household, Chinh My Commune).
Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Van Vien awarded the 3-star OCOP product certificate to 13 products of 12 entities. At the same time, he directed that in the coming time, specialized departments, based on their functions and tasks, will coordinate to guide and support localities, especially entities, to continue to widely implement the OCOP program in order to build the district's OCOP program commensurate with its potential and advantages.
Along with that, strengthen propaganda and dissemination work, help entities and individuals, cooperatives, and businesses develop products; at the same time, promote brand promotion activities to improve efficiency, product quality more widely, reaching consumers with quality-assured products, bearing local characteristics.
