During the investigation, prosecution and trial, the prosecution agencies had sufficient grounds to conclude that this attack was directed and assisted by Y Quynh Bdap, head of the terrorist organization Montagnards for Justice (MSFJ). This subject has a history of violating criminal law in Vietnam and has crossed the border to live abroad.

In particular, Y Quynh Bdap, the leader of the terrorist organization Montagnards for Justice (MSFJ), directed the preparation since 2017, through connecting, attracting, recruiting forces, and directing the attack. This was confessed by the subjects directly involved in the terrorist attack. "In 2017, Y Quynh assigned me to go everywhere to propagate to reorganize soldiers. I prepared 2 air guns with 1.2 kg of explosives," Y Krong Phok, the subject involved in the terrorist attack on June 11, 2023, confessed. According to the Dak Lak provincial prosecution agencies, Hwuen Eban, one of the ringleaders of the terrorist attack, confessed that since 2018, Y Quynh had contacted Hwuen, directed propaganda, attracted and recruited forces, and prepared for the terrorist attack. Y Quynh texted Y Ba Bya, a participant in the terrorist attack. Images of the terrorist forces gathered in the hut were sent to Y Quynh by Y Ba Bya before the attack.

However, after the investigation, it was found that Y Quynh Bdap had limited awareness; was lured by bad elements, so the humane and lenient policy of Vietnamese law should be implemented; Y Quynh Buon Dap was exempted from criminal prosecution and handed over to local authorities for management and education. "I was deceived by foreigners, I see that what I did was wrong, my brothers and sisters in the family as well as in society should not follow bad people, distort things, we should only trust the Party and the State", said Y Quynh Bdap (2013). However, after that, Y Quynh remained stubborn, continuing to commit increasingly serious illegal acts. In 2018, Y Quynh illegally crossed the border to Thailand. Here, this subject established the Montagnards for Justice Group, propagandized, connected, recruited forces in the country and incited and directed subjects to carry out the terrorist attack on June 11, 2023. "I also regret what I did. Y Quynh destroyed people's families and happiness. I will be sentenced to life...", said Hwuen Eban, the leader of the terrorist attack on June 11, 2023. In January 2024, the People's Court of Dak Lak province sentenced Y Quynh to 10 years in prison for "Terrorism" and the authorities issued a special wanted notice for Y Quynh Bdap.
