(Dan Tri) - A wood chip factory in Dak Lak suddenly caught fire, the fire broke out, the fire police force tried to put out the fire, preventing the fire from spreading to the surrounding area.
On the morning of January 27, Dak Lak provincial authorities are investigating the cause of a large fire at a wood chip factory in Ea H'leo commune (Ea H'leo district).
According to initial information, the incident occurred at around 8:45 p.m. on January 26, at a wood chip factory. At this time, the fire quickly broke out violently, due to strong winds, black smoke spread to surrounding areas, with the risk of spreading.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police mobilized 30 officers, soldiers and 5 fire trucks to the scene to coordinate with Ea H'leo District Police and local forces to participate in fire fighting.
Determining that if the fire was not extinguished promptly, it would spread widely, so the authorities cordoned off the area, put out the fire, and mobilized people to move flammable materials away.
By 11:45 p.m. the same day, the fire was extinguished. According to preliminary statistics, the fire area was about 300 square meters, with estimated property damage of 350 million VND, fortunately there were no human casualties.
According to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police, with effective coordination of units and support from the people, the fire was controlled promptly, limiting the spread of the fire, protecting many other valuable assets.
