On December 11, the Ukrainian Air Force announced that it had shot down eight missiles aimed at the capital Kiev. Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry said that FPV drones of the Western Army Group destroyed several targets in the Kupyansk region.
The conflict in Ukraine will end through negotiations with the West, a Russian official said. The official stressed that negotiations will definitely take place and all clashes must end through negotiations.
In another development, on the same day, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced that it had prevented 18 attacks in 2023 in the Crimean peninsula, including a plot to assassinate the Moscow-appointed head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, and former member of the Ukrainian parliament Oleh Tsaryov.
According to the statement, the FSB arrested 18 agents working for Ukrainian security agencies and their accomplices on charges of conspiracy to commit sabotage.
