In recent times, the province has made efforts to synchronously implement measures to promote the construction of a digital society; focusing on investing in information infrastructure, building and developing digital services.
Propaganda work is promoted to raise awareness and participation of people in the digital transformation process in general and building a digital society in particular; encourage people to use computers and smartphones connected to the internet and access and use digital applications and digital services.
The province currently has 1,240 Community Technology Teams with nearly 9,900 members, playing an important role in propaganda, mobilization, and guiding people to install and use digital technology.
Digital infrastructure in the province continues to receive investment attention in a synchronous and modern direction. Up to now, 3G and 4G networks have covered 100% of the province, more than 60 5G stations have been broadcast; the whole province has more than 1.3 million mobile phone subscribers; 290,000 fixed broadband internet subscribers and 1.1 million mobile broadband internet subscribers; more than 16,000 public digital signatures have been provided for people and businesses to use for digital signing and authentication.
In addition, the database on population, identification and electronic authentication continues to be completed, creating a solid foundation for implementing digital transformation tasks in general and building a digital society in particular.
The province has more than 762,000 activated electronic identification accounts, reaching 77% of eligible people, making it one of the provinces with the highest rate of electronic identification account activation in the country; nearly 98% of people and employees participating in social insurance and health insurance have been authenticated with the national population database; 100% of the province's poor and near-poor household databases have been updated and connected to the national population database as prescribed.
In addition, more than 176,000 people have created accounts on the province's administrative procedure settlement information system; the rate of people aged 15 and over having transaction accounts at banks or credit institutions reached 68%; 100% of schools and medical examination and treatment facilities have implemented digital transformation and implemented cashless fee collection; nearly 85% of meritorious people and social protection beneficiaries are paid salaries and allowances via accounts; pension payments via accounts reached nearly 80%...
