Cultural, physical training and sports institutions are increasingly vibrant and rich, with diverse and attractive forms, meeting the needs of the people to enjoy cultural and spiritual life. Thereby, contributing to promoting the great national unity bloc, promoting socio-economic development, consolidating the political system, and maintaining national defense and security.

Cultural, artistic and sports activities for the masses are maintained and developed, meeting the diverse and healthy living needs of the people. The system of cultural institutions throughout the country has received investment, construction, repair and upgrading from localities. The implementation of civilized lifestyles in weddings and funerals has many positive changes. Festivals are organized in accordance with State regulations, ensuring thrift, solemnity and civilization, and socialization work is promoted.

Sports competition

Many annual folk festivals in localities are maintained and organized in accordance with the State's orientation and have truly become festivals, imbued with the cultural identity of the nation, attracting a large number of people to participate. In particular, the Khmer Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival and the Cham Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival, which are held alternately every year, have become indispensable spiritual and cultural activities for the Khmer and Cham ethnic minorities in the province. "Through the festivals, we aim to create conditions for artisans and ethnic minorities in the province to meet, exchange, learn experiences, and demonstrate their talents in the fields of culture - arts, physical education - sports. Thereby, preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic groups, contributing to enriching the cultural and spiritual life of the people" - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Truong Ba Trang shared.

The movement to build cultural families, cultural hamlets and villages is carried out with many creative, rich, focused and key methods. The evaluation of the title of cultural family in localities is conducted publicly, democratically, closely following the criteria. Typical cultural families are the core in the movement to build prosperous, equal, progressive and happy families. At the same time, they are positive and important factors in protecting and preserving the moral values, fine customs and traditions, and fine traditional culture of the nation... The whole province has recognized 508,465 cultural households (reaching 94.2% of the total number of households); 879 cultural hamlets/villages (reaching 100% of the total number of hamlets).

The Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have stepped up innovation in mobilizing and propagating the People to implement movements: All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; All people protect national security; The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind; Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses... Many emulation movements have become bright spots, many contents have entered daily life, and have been responded to and actively and responsibly implemented by all levels, sectors, society and people.

The movement of physical training and sports for building a greener countryside has spread strongly not only in urban areas, but also in mountainous areas, remote areas, and ethnic minority areas, with many diverse and creative activities, suitable to the conditions of each locality. Thereby, many typical examples of "Good people, good deeds", exemplary groups in all fields have emerged, creating motivation to arouse and promote the talents and intelligence of individuals and groups in studying, working, production - business, and striving to improve in life. Mr. Chau Soc Da (residing in Tri Ton town, Tri Ton district) said: "With the help of the local government, our people have gradually learned to apply science - technology and production, trade, to earn more income. Thanks to that, our lives are also better than before. When family life is stable, we actively participate in social - charitable activities, join hands to build a cultural lifestyle, build new rural areas".

In the coming time, the Party Committee and the provincial government will continue to develop the movement of physical training and sports for building a civilized rural area in association with campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, with many diverse, flexible and creative activities, suitable to the conditions of each locality. At the same time, effectively exploit cultural institutions; regularly organize cultural - artistic, physical training and sports activities, contributing to meeting the needs of cultural enjoyment, health training, creating a healthy playground for the people.
