On August 20 in Hanoi, the Central Youth Union organized a seminar on "Building a team of young cadres, civil servants and public employees for a strong Vietnam" with the theme "Raising the sense of responsibility for implementing public service culture and public service ethics of young cadres, civil servants and public employees in the digital environment".
The seminar was held within the framework of the 10th National "Excellent Young Cadres, Civil Servants and Public Employees" Award, 2024.
Opening the discussion, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Ngo Van Cuong emphasized that building a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees with sufficient capacity and qualities to meet the country's development requirements is the responsibility of the entire political system.
In the context that the Government is implementing solutions to promote digital transformation, towards building a digital Government today, building a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation is decisive for the development of the country.
Mr. Cuong said that in recent times, the Central Youth Union has implemented many effective contents and solutions to promote the role of young cadres, civil servants and public employees in performing professional tasks, building a team of young cadres, civil servants and public employees who are dynamic, creative, skilled, honest, patriotic, and raise awareness of wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people.
Currently, all levels of the Youth Union across the country are implementing comprehensive digital transformation, contributing to effective and economical work implementation.

According to Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang, the 4th industrial revolution poses many challenges, including challenges to the courage and dedication of the young generation to the task of developing the country. Therefore, young people can contribute in many different fields, especially in the public sector, the dedication of young people must be put first.
Mr. Thang said that it is necessary to set a goal of building a team of professional cadres, civil servants and public employees who are both "specialized" in terms of qualifications, knowledge and dynamism, and "red" in terms of courage, responsibility and increasingly more dedication to the cause of building and developing the country.
At the seminar, delegates, experts, cadres, civil servants and young public employees shared about the impacts of digital transformation on the implementation of public service culture and public service ethics.
Delegates also shared many good models and activities, as well as proposed solutions to raise the sense of responsibility for implementing public service culture and public service ethics of young cadres, civil servants and public employees today.
