Determined 6 out of 8 teams in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Asian Cup

At Al Janoub Stadium, Uzbekistan and Thailand played an exciting match. The Central Asian football representative took the lead at the end of the first half thanks to a goal from Azizbek Turgunboev.

In the 58th minute, Supachok Sarachat scored a superb long-range shot to equalize 1-1 for Thailand. Seven minutes later, it was Abbosbek Fayzullaev's turn to score a beautiful long-range shot to help Uzbekistan regain the lead. The 2-1 score in favor of Uzbekistan lasted until the end of the match, helping this team secure a ticket to the quarterfinals.
