On the afternoon of January 27 (28th lunar month), in Da Nang City, the Naval Region 3 Command organized an online New Year greeting from the Region Command Headquarters to 11 connection points at radio units, radar stations and ships on duty at sea.
At the conference, representatives of the commanders of the stations, radar stations and ships reported on the results of the implementation of the unit's tasks, the ideological situation of the troops and the preparations for the spring activities to celebrate the traditional New Year of the nation with many forms and rich content.
Representatives of the commanders of radio stations, stations and ships on duty sent New Year greetings to the Commander of Naval Region 3 Command, commanders at all levels and their families; at the same time, expressed their determination to complete assigned tasks well and absolutely not to be passive and surprised in any situation.

After listening to the reports of the units, Rear Admiral Nguyen Thien Quan praised the efforts to overcome difficulties and the determination of the officers and soldiers of the stations, radar stations and ships on duty at sea; at the same time, he requested the units to continue to thoroughly grasp the situation and tasks, feel secure in their work, be proactive and flexible in handling situations, overcome all difficulties and shortages, and organize spring activities to welcome the New Year in a joyful, warm, healthy, safe, economical and highly combat-ready manner.
The Commander of the Region encouraged and sent New Year wishes to all officers, soldiers and their families who are performing duties in the high mountains, remote islands and at sea for a joyful, healthy, happy new year and for excellent completion of assigned tasks.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Commander of the Region and the delegation of the Naval Region 3 Command visited and shared the difficulties with the families of soldiers in especially difficult circumstances, suffering from long-term illnesses. At the families, the Commander of the Region kindly visited, wishing the soldiers and their families to have the confidence to overcome adversity and have a happy Tet. On this occasion, each family of the soldier received a gift worth 2,000,000 VND.
