In this morning's trading session, VN-Index decreased slightly by 0.7 points to 1,269.23 points. In the afternoon session, increased demand helped the VN-Index increase by nearly 6 points, but then the index representing the floor returned close to the reference level. At the end of the session, VN-Index stopped at 1,271.98 points, up 2.05 points (0.16%); VN30-Index increased by 3.57 points (0.27%), to 1,339.05 points.

The increase and decrease in price were equal with 176 stocks going up and 179 stocks going down. In the VN30 group, the number of stocks increasing and decreasing in price was 14 and 12, respectively. The industry groups that increased points were more dominant than those that decreased. However, the increase and decrease in price were within a narrow range.
In the rising group, only two industries increased by more than 1%: hardware, food and essentials retail. On the other hand, financial services, specialized services and trade decreased by more than 1%.
Banking stocks have a significant differentiation. While LPB contributed the most to the VN-Index with more than 1 point and this group also has TCB, HDB, VPB in the 10 codes with the most contributions to the market, VCB took away the most points with nearly 0.7 points. BID, MSB, SHB are also among the 10 codes taking away the most points.
Today's session, the entire floor had more than 15,700 billion VND changed hands. Foreign investors were net sellers. This group bought nearly 1,470 billion VND and sold approximately 1,585 billion VND.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index stopped at 231.52 points, down 0.94 points (-0.4%); the HNX30-Index decreased 4.18 points (-0.82%), down to 504.04 points; the total transfer value reached more than VND1,400 billion.
