“Vinh Linh heroic tradition and development aspirations”

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vinh Linh Traditional Day August 25 (1954 - 2024) and towards the 70th anniversary of Vinh Linh Special Zone June 16 (1955 - 2025), today August 20, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department coordinated with the Standing Committee of Vinh Linh District Party Committee to organize a scientific seminar with the theme "Vinh Linh heroic tradition and development aspirations".

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam; Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang; Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Chien Thang; Secretary of the Dong Ha City Party Committee Le Quang Chien; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam and over 170 delegates representing the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at the provincial level; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; invited guests who are leaders and scientists from central agencies, provinces and cities in the country; leaders of Tan Ky district, Nghe An province; leaders of Vinh Linh district, district-level departments, branches and communes and towns attended.

In addition to the opening speeches, welcoming speeches, introductory reports and summary reports of the workshop, the Workshop Steering Committee received 52 presentations from leaders and former leaders of central ministries, departments and branches; leaders and former leaders of Quang Tri province through the periods; leaders of some departments, departments and branches of the province; leaders and former leaders of Vinh Linh district; scholars, scientists, historical witnesses, and localities inside and outside the province who were attached to Vinh Linh during the resistance war.

The presentations sent to the conference continued to affirm and deepen the strategic vision and the correct and creative leadership and direction of the Party; affirm and clarify the historical and cultural traditions and heroic people of Vinh Linh; about the great contributions of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Vinh Linh in 70 years of construction, fighting and growing up; to continue to arouse pride, spread the aspiration to rise up and build Vinh Linh homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized, worthy of being the key economic region in the North of the province.
