Vingroup and Vietravel cooperate to promote green tourism

(To Quoc) - On October 25, Vietravel Group and Vingroup signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement to strongly promote green transformation in business, aiming at sustainable development and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese brands in the international arena.

Under the comprehensive cooperation agreement, the two parties will work closely with companies in the ecosystem to promote environmentally friendly tourism and mobility, providing visitors with green experiences and creating sustainable living.

Specifically, in the field of green tourism, Vietravel and Vingroup will research to bring VinFast electric cars and VinBus electric buses into service for transporting tourists. Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM), FGF Trading and Service Joint Stock Company - For Green Future - Vingroup's partners will also coordinate with Vietravel to deploy green car services in sightseeing tours, flights and suitable tourism products. In addition, Vinpearl and VinWonders will also research to provide plastic waste-free tourism service packages, creating a different experience for Vietravel customers.

Vietravel Group and Vingroup Corporation will cooperate closely with companies in the ecosystem to promote environmentally friendly tourism and travel.

In the field of green mobility, Vietravel supports Vingroup's green transformation strategy, especially the program "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future". The two sides will coordinate to organize electric vehicle test drives, build charging stations, and encourage employees to use green, environmentally friendly vehicles on every journey.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Group, shared: "The signing of the memorandum of understanding is a comprehensive strategic step, demonstrating the determination of both Groups in connecting the tourism ecosystem from Vietravel and the green transformation program from Vingroup.
