VinFast VF 5 Plus – “Equipment King” of segment A attracts customers at the ‘green’ exhibition

Coming to the exhibition "VinFast - For a green future" taking place at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace from July 7-9, visitors will have the opportunity to admire the entire VinFast electric vehicle ecosystem for the first time, including electric car models introduced to the public for the first time: VF 3, VF 6 and VF 7. In addition, some models currently on the market such as VF 5 Plus, VF e34, VF 8 or VF 9 will also appear.

While VF 3, VF 6 and VF 7 attracted the curiosity of visitors, VF 5 Plus was the model that received the most attention and experience. Among the thousands of visitors to the exhibition, many came to test drive and test drive the VF 5 Plus. Some even decided to deposit money after experiencing it.

“From morning to night, the test drive registration area is always crowded. The VF 5 Plus cars operate at full capacity to meet the needs of many test drive customers,” said Mr. Truong, the business manager in charge of coordinating test drive activities at the exhibition. According to him, the VF 5 Plus attracts customers at the exhibition because the car belongs to the popular segment, is easy to access for users and this is also 1 of 3 car models that can be test driven right at the event.

Traveling dozens of kilometers to the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, Mr. Quoc Ca (31 years old, Bac Ninh) attended the exhibition to see the new electric cars of VinFast with his own eyes. He said that he had already deposited for a VF 5 Plus but felt very excited so he came here to experience driving the car model that he will receive in the near future.

Exhibition visitors highly appreciated the VF 5 during the test drive.

Mr. Quoc Ca shared that he had previously used a gasoline car in the same segment, but for many reasons he decided to switch to the VF 5 Plus: “Firstly, my wife gets carsick and can’t stand the smell of gasoline. We also have a 3-year-old child and grandparents, so riding an electric car won’t affect their health. Second, the safety of the VF 5 Plus is much better than the previous car I used and other cars in the same segment.”

Mr. Hiep (30 years old, Hanoi) owns a gasoline-powered car and is very interested in electric vehicles because of their economical usage costs and beautiful designs. Therefore, he decided to come to this exhibition to see the product range that VinFast displayed. The car that caught his eye the most was the VF 5 Plus.

“VF 5 Plus is superior to other gasoline cars in the same segment in terms of technology and price, especially I like the virtual assistant that controls in Vietnamese. Normally, cars in this segment have very basic hands-free control features, the driver still has to operate a lot on the screen. With a virtual assistant, I just need to give commands, without having to take my eyes off the road, so it is much safer for myself and my family,” said Mr. Hiep.

VF 5 is one of VinFast's most popular models.

Sharing the same opinion with Mr. Hiep, Mr. Vy (38 years old, Hanoi) even said that this electric car model has competitive points with B-class cars such as spacious interior and good finishing quality. Mr. Vy said that he has experienced some B-class crossover cars and affirmed that the finishing quality of VF 5 Plus is better.

According to the specifications from VinFast, the VF 5 Plus is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum capacity of 134 horsepower and a torque of 135 Nm. Although the numbers do not seem impressive when compared to high-segment cars, the advantage of the electric motor is the ability to accelerate without delay, so the small car responds quite quickly to the driver's control.

Although not a newly launched product, VinFast VF 5 Plus still dominated the exhibition thanks to its suitability for the popular customer segment and its outstanding technology.

From July 7 to September 17, 2023, customers nationwide can experience VF 5 Plus, VF 8, VF 9 within the framework of the national exhibition series "VinFast - For a green future", and at the same time, admire the entire range of electric products of VinFast from buses, electric cars, electric motorbikes to electric bicycles. In particular, for the first time, the VF 3, VF 6, VF 7 and electric bicycle models are introduced to the Vietnamese public.
