On the occasion of Tet 2025, Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has made a breakthrough by introducing a limited edition contemporary art collection 'Hundred Rivers Flow to the Great Sea'.

When receiving the assignment from VIB, Mr. Ly Huy Sang felt excited. The work "Hundred Rivers Flow to the Big Sea" was built on the image of small rivers, which, despite going through many rapids, always flow towards the big sea. This is a symbolic image, reminiscent of the Vietnamese tradition of family reunion, where every member, no matter how far away, always returns to their roots.
The works include "Downstream", "Gathering", "Sum vay", which are high-end ceramic products such as a set of dishes, health cups and health boxes, designed by visual artist Bui Cong Khanh. Mr. Sang commented that this is a perfect combination of contemporary art and the culture of gathering, bringing immeasurable spiritual value.
In particular, he emphasized that each bowl and plate is not only an item to display food but also a "witness" to happy moments of the family. "Every time you use the items from the "Hundred Rivers Flow to the Great Sea" series, I believe you will be reminded of happy moments, moments of love," said Mr. Sang.
The elaborate crafting process creates timeless works of art.
Minh Long and VIB both set the strictest standards to achieve perfection. Mr. Sang revealed that his team had to change the production line, fine-tuning each step to ensure product consistency and stability.
The "Hundred Rivers Flow to the Sea" pattern is a challenge. When printed on a flat surface like a cup or plate, calculating the position can be done easily. But on a health cup with a closed round design, printing the pattern requires absolute precision. Each cup must meet the standards of size, color and sharpness of the pattern. The error does not exceed 0.001 mm, which requires a combination of modern technology and the meticulous hands of leading artisans.
Minh Long has spent years searching for the best minerals in the world to create ceramic materials that are both durable and safe for health. Each product is fired at 1,380 degrees Celsius - the highest temperature currently - helping the glaze achieve a shiny, durable and stain-resistant finish.
The classic white and cobalt blue design not only brings a pure beauty but also increases artistic depth. The patterns are hidden under the enamel layer, when looking at it, you will see the sharpness, smoothness and sophistication. This product set is not only an everyday item but can also become a family heirloom, preserving memories and inspiring many generations.

The "Downstream" ceramic health cup can keep heat for at least 40 minutes. The nano-glaze layer makes the product difficult to get dirty, always beautiful and new; does not change the flavor of drinks (both hot and cold), including alkaline, fermented drinks (lemon juice, soft drinks, beer...), ensuring safety for health. In particular, drinking water stored in ceramic health cups at room temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius can help increase the amount of ions in the water, good for the digestive system.
